Sprinkling Kindness on the CTR - A Ride to Remember Tricia
Wednesday, March 14, 2018 | 4:00pm - 9:00pm
Leigh Bowe (VIDA MTB Series and ColoRowdies) will be riding the CTR in memory of Tricia Shadell and to raise funds to raise suicide and CTE awareness.
Funds from the silent auction and on-site donations will go to Check-In Foundation, who in partnership with VIDA will be awarding a scholarship for an all expense paid VIDA MTB Series Clinic.
Come join us for a group ride, enjoy a beer, and enter for a chance to win some great prizes!

Hucktoberfest 2017
Saturday, October 21, 2017 | 12:00pm - 5:00pm
Bring your skills to the foundation's first Hucktoberfest to be held at Valmont. Join us for a fun afternoon surrounded by friends and community while riding to increase awareness of suicide and CTE.
Stop by our tent and say "hi". We'll have foundation stickers, hats, and La Croix! Learn about exclusive patented Omni Directional Suspension™ by 6D Helmets.

Each class has 15-30 minute jams (depending on class size). Riders are judged on best run on the following categories:

Clay Watson Memorial Ride
October 1, 2017 | 10:00am - 4:00pm
Join us at Trestle Bike Park for a day of shredding with family and friends while we honor and remember those we’ve lost to suicide.
Visit our tent (we're having a raffle!) at the base of the Zephyr lift. We will have foundation stickers, hats, and La Croix! Learn about exclusive patented Omni Directional Suspension™ by 6D Helmets.
Bike plates will be provided for you to display the name of who you are honoring.

Colorado Freeride Festival
July 27-30, 2017
We are excited to have a booth at the Colorado Freeride Festival, hosted at Trestle Bike Park in Winter Park, Colorado. There will be races for all ages, lessons, family activities, bike vendors, and of course the slopestyle event that brings world class downhill riders from all over the world.
Be sure to swing by and say "hi". We will have hats, stickers, and some goodies to give away.

We are excited to announce the foundation's first fundraiser! Join us for a night of music, food and drink, raffles, and good company. Hosted by Muddy Buck in Evergreen, Colorado. Tickets are only $25 and all proceeds go to the foundation.

Clay Watson Memorial Ride
September 4, 2016 | 10:00am - 4:00pm
On September 4, 2016, Clay's friends and family gathered at Trestle Bike Park in Winter Park to honor their friend and loved one. Clay was well known by many in the downhill community, and Winter Park was pretty much his second home. He spent his time shredding the trails he loved, as well as coaching juniors at the resort. The event was filled with those who Clay called family, all there to celebrate his life and the memories he left. In true Clay fashion, we commenced upon the resort, took upon lifts, hit the trails! April gave friends small glass vials of Clay's ashes to be spread in whatever way they felt best expressed their memories of Clay. April said "Clay's friends have always been his family to him, today his family remembered him like they knew he would want to be remembered." - bike, cheers, and lots of smiles. The day was such a success it was given an offical title and will happen every year in September.
